Talking about changing lifestyle habits is one thing, its more relatable and it’s becoming more a part of our popular culture and easier to talk about. But talking about changing our diet and nutrition is another thing….

This has been an uphill battle for me, getting people to see another way or adopt more ways to enhance existing efforts. I could just stop talking about diet and nutrition… actually no, who am I kidding… I can’t! I just care too much and now I know what I know, I feel the need to share with others and help others. The best way I have found to do this is by sharing my health story and struggles and how I overcame them by fundamentally changing my diet and lifestyle.

That’s exactly what Byron Hurt has done to get people to think differently about their health by exploring the very foundation of family and tradition… Soul Food. Through this insightful and personal documentary we can understand how our food culture has developed and realise that is not about leaving it behind, rather taking it forward.

A must watch…
